Teri Nicholson was born in Bay City, MI and grew up in Dayton, OH. In 1984, she received her registered nursing degree at Coastal Carolina Community college in Jacksonville, NC and became certified in inpatient obstetrics. In 1990, she became a certified nurse midwife, after graduating from Baylor College of Medicine Midwifery program. She practiced two years in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before moving to Marietta, GA in 1992.
Her scope of practice includes low risk Obstetrics, managing uncomplicated labor, delivery, postpartum care, and routine Gynecology. She also manages high risk patients under the supervision of Dr. Nicholson.
She, like Dr. Nicholson, will honor special requests for delivery, but she does not manage home births.
